The Mazda MX-30 borrows a few cues from the CX-30 – the rugged fenders and coupe-like styling in particular. But what the MX-30 doesn't have that its more-traditional counterparts do is a gas engine; the MX-30 is fully electric. Not only does it offer a bit of practicality, but it also provides "true supercar" performance with a powerful new twin-turbocharged V8 making 620 horsepower. There’s now a storage shelf where you’d typically find the engine in a McLaren, which can carry a set of golf clubs. Well, Mini’s latest attempt at electrifying its iconic city car is called the Cooper SE, and it somehow manages to subvert that expectation, to say the least. The vehicle’s range is a disappointingly low 110 miles, while its $29,900 base price is still relatively high. Federal and state incentives may bring its price down, depending on where you live, but nothing will fix its range that, in 2020, is remarkably low compared to other compact electric cars like the 259-mile Chevy Bolt. But for those few people who must have an electric Mini, the Cooper SE now exists. 41 / 52 2020 Mini John Cooper Works GP Status Variant Price $44,900 Mini’s most-powerful model – the 302-horsepower John Cooper Works GP – debuted last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Packing a turbocharged engine, the JCW GP sprints to 60 miles per hour in just seconds and costs $44,900 to start. It goes on sale later this year. 42 / 52 2020 Nissan Sentra Status All-New Price $19,090 The 2020 Nissan Sentra is all-new, with styling that matches other recently unveiled Nissans such as the Altima and Rogue. With the base model producing 379 horsepower, and with assurances fro variants like the upcoming hybrid model of being, the "highest-performing" of all the 911s, there's a lot to still look forward to. For now, the base 911 is already on sale and costs $97,400 to start. 45 / 52 2020 Porsche Taycan Status All-New Price $103,800 Before Federal Rebates The Porsche Taycan is an all-new model for 2020 and becomes this famous performance car brand’s first all-electric car for sale. Based on the well-received Mission E concept car, the Taycan looks like a futuristic Porsche sports sedan on the outside, and its interior is festooned with maybe more screens than any other production car. The Taycan is available in three models – Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S – with each offering increasing levels of performance. More speed, though, also means a higher price substantially so, in this case and decreasing range. Prices start at $103,800 for the 4S, $150,900 for the Turbo, and $185,000 for the Turbo S, while two battery packs are available – one kWh and one kWh. The EPA has certified the Taycan Turbo has a range of 201 miles and the Turbo S a range of 192 miles, while the 4S, which likely has the longest range, has yet to be rated. 46 / 52 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Status Variant Price $36,930 The Ram 1500 itself isn't new, but the truck's optional diesel powertrain is. The updated 1500 EcoDiesel arrived in 2019 promising 22 miles per gallon in the city, 32 on the highway, and 26 combined. With the available 33-gallon, the 1500 EcoDiesel has more than 1,000 miles of estimated range. BMW poursuit le développement de la M4 GT3 de dernière génération et a récemment terminé une série de tests sur le Nurburgring. La nouvelle BMW M4 GT3 a été testée par la division M Motorsport pour procéder à une nouvelle étape importante de son développement. Le constructeur allemand BMW indique que les tests effectués à la fin de la semaine dernière étaient axés sur la durabilité des composants. Ce sont les pilotes officiels de la marque, le Brésilien Augusto Farfus et l’Allemand Jens Klingmann qui se sont relayés au volant de la nouvelle sportive bavaroise, en la testant sur le circuit réputé comme étant le plus difficile du monde, le Nürburgring. Sur la Nordschleife, les composants de la voiture ont ainsi été testés dans des conditions extrêmes, et le comportement de conduite a été aussi testé dans ses séries de virages bien spécifiques.
